Lower League eCup Play-In Tournament

A free online FIFA video game tournament called the Lower League eCup was founded shortly after COVID hit as a way to help keep the lower league soccer community connected and engaged. It is not a professional competition and is strictly for casual gamers. Lansing Common FC was among the 74 clubs that were represented in the 2021 tournament and we’re looking for entrants for January 2022!

Our participation helped build awareness of our club through articles like this one.

The 2022 eCup tournament will begin on Tuesday, January 4th with the finals being played the week of February 14th. FIFA 22 is the version of the game that will be used.

There will be tournaments on three separate platforms: PC, PlayStation, and Xbox. Each platform will have two divisions: A Premier Division for players officially representing a club and a Second Division for anyone else that wants to participate. There will also be a separate Rocket League tournament that can be played on any platform.

A play-in tournament will be held to determine our representative for each platform’s Premier Division. Qualification matches will be played between November 29th and December 15th and live-streamed on Twitch when possible.

If you or someone you know would be interested in being an official Lansing Common representative in the 2022 eCup, please complete this form by Sunday November 28th.
